Campaign Tab

Deep dive into individual PMax performance. Pick a campaign and see exactly where it's spending, how channels are shifting over time, and what search behavior is driving results.

1. Selecting a Campaign

Use the drop-down menu to choose a specific campaign to examine.

2. Cost by Channel

View the cost and conversions split by channel for the selected campaign.

3. Cost Over Time

  • See the percentage allocation of channels over time and the actual spend over time
  • Identify spikes or trends in costs for better data analysis
  • Also see conversions as a percentage over time

4. Search Category Buckets

  • Four types of buckets: blank, brand, close brand, and non brand. Blank categories explained here
  • Brand terms entered in the settings sheet impact the data displayed
  • Update brand terms to improve the relevance of search categories (you'll need to run the script again to update the charts)

5. Top Search Categories

  • Displays the top search categories, sortable by clicks, impressions, conversions, and value
  • Conditional formatting highlights high and low values for easier analysis
