Comprehensive view of all search category data across your entire account, with four-bucket classification.
The Categories tab provides a comprehensive view of all search category data across your entire account. This contrasts with the Campaign tab, which focuses on individual campaign analysis.
You can sort the table data by multiple metrics:
The tab offers flexibility in display, allowing you to choose the number of rows shown (up to 200 rows) for detailed or high-level analysis depending on your needs.
The Categories tab uses a four-bucket classification system to segment your search categories by performance and intent.
Brand Terms Configuration: It's important to include your brand terms on the settings tab. This enables detailed charts specifically for brand and close-to-brand terms, providing clearer insights into branded versus non-branded search performance.
Bucket Metrics: For each of the four buckets, the tab displays:
Absolute and Relative Data: The report displays both absolute amounts and percentages, giving you context for performance. This helps you understand not just relative performance but actual volume and impact.
